Title: Quantum Computing Hardware at IBM

Dr. David Abraham received his Ph.D. in Physics from Harvard University, where he studied low-temperature superconducting transitions in thin metallic films. After a post-doctoral appointment with Prof. John Clarke at UC Berkeley, he joined IBM at the TJ Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY. There, he has been involved in a wide variety of projects such as imaging (scanning probe microscopy) and magnetic memory devices (MRAM and novel hard disk characterization techniques). More recently he is the Principal Quantum Scientist for Advanced Packaging. Dr. Abraham is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
