Condensed matter experiments, with a focus on the design, synthesis, and characterization of new materials. Particularly interested in quantum materials, unconventional superconductivity, magnetism, strongly correlated materials, topological materials. Other topics include: energy materials, methods to tune the properties of materials (high pressure, high magnetic field, chemical substitutions), methods to accelerate material discovery (materials property database and machine learning).
